Savings (Share) Account

To become a member of First Missouri Credit Union, you must open a Share (Savings) Account with a minimum $25 deposit. FMCU Share Accounts function as a traditional passbook-type account, and earn interest.

Youth Accounts

FMCU has two savings programs for our younger members. The Loot Troop serves children ages 12 and under, and Cool Cash Connection is for teens ages 13 to 18. To join Loot Troop or Cool Cash Connection, simply open an account with a minimum deposit of $25. The account earns interest and has quarterly savings recognition. Plus, it’s educational and fun!

Certificates of Deposit (CDs)

An FMCU Certificate of Deposit is a great alternative to the volatile stock market. Along with competitive interest rates, we offer a variety of terms designed to fit your needs and goals. CDs require a minimum deposit. Call or stop by for details.

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

An excellent way to build a brighter future, an IRA may offer the benefits of an immediate tax deduction, as well as tax-deferred interest. At First Missouri Credit Union, you can make contributions to your IRA a little at a time, or if you prefer, with a lump-sum deposit. Choose from the Traditional, Roth or Education IRAs. Preferred Shares

This special share account earns attractive daily market rates when you maintain a minimum balance of $2,000. You must also keep at least $1,000 in your regular savings account. The funds are available for withdrawal without penalty or monthly service charge.

Christmas Club

First Missouri Credit Union offers a convenient, interest-bearing savings account designed to help you set aside cash for holiday shopping. Make regular deposits through Payroll Deduction, by mail or in person. When the holiday season comes around, the money will automatically be transferred to your primary savings account.
