Attention Visa Debit Cardholders

Keep your First Missouri Credit Union debit card transactions secure with your new EMV (Europay, MasterCard®, Visa®) chip Visa debit card and CardValet card control. EMV chip card transactions are protected by a unique, one-time code for each transaction to be approved, providing greater security and peace of mind for you our member.

EMV Chip Protection

Over the last year, First Missouri Credit Union has replaced members’ debit cards with upgraded cards featuring EMV chips. This is part of our ongoing efforts to keep your transactions secure. If you’re a debit cardholder and HAVE NOT received an upgraded EMV chip card please contact the credit union.

If you have received your card but have not activated it, please do so NOW:

  • Call 1-800-757-9848 to
    • activate your card
    • select a 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN)
    • complete the verification process

Be sure to convert or transfer any automatic debits attached to your existing debit card number over to your new EMV chip FMCU Visa debit card number.

Because it carries the Visa® logo, you can use it to make purchases from your First Missouri Credit Union checking account at merchant locations around the world. Plus, your debit card is an interest-free alternative to using a credit card.

Swipe your debit card at the register to have your purchases deducted right from your First Missouri Credit Union checking account!!

PIN-Based

Swipe your debit card and enter your PIN at the register to have your purchases deducted right from your First Missouri Credit Union checking account!

 

Insert your debit card and enter your PIN at 30,000 ATMs, for checking or savings account deposits, withdrawals and balance inquires.
